Many abbeys have brewing traditions and licence their beers to be brewed by commercial companies. Quality and styles do vary tremendously. These are some of the best and like trappist beers are strong and bottle conditioned.

Grimbergen Blonde
ABV 6.7% | Volume 33cl | Price £2.80
This is a strong blond beer, with a yeasty softness to the palate reminiscent of trappist beers and a tenacious, frothy head. It has a slightly hoppy aroma, which is less pronounced in the taste. It is quite sweet but not overpoweringly so, with a strong hint of vanilla in the aftertaste. Very drinkable.

Leffe Brun
ABV 6.5% | Volume 33cl | Price £2.70
A very dark brown ale. Strong sweet taste with hints of burnt malt. Full bodied. Leaves a pronounced bitter aftertaste.

Leffe Blonde
ABV 6.6% | Volume 33cl | Price £2.90
A top fermented ale combining typical yeast characteristics with a fruity flavour. It has a beautiful yellow gold colour, a full body and a subtle, aromatic flavour.

Leffe Tripel
ABV 8.4% | Volume 33cl | Price £4.10
A fresh golden ale with hints of lemon and vanilla.
