Inveralmond Brewery

Beautiful beer from the heart of Scotland

The last brewery in Perth (Wrights) closed its doors in 1966. More than 30 years later, on 14th May 1997, The Inveralmond Brewery opened its doors and began brewing beautiful beer from the heart of Scotland.

Perth is the natural location for a brewery, being situated in the very heart of Scotland. The Inveralmond Brewery nestles between the fabulous rolling hills of Perthshire and the mighty Grampian mountain range, with crystal clear rivers all around. This breathtakingly beautiful scenery provided the inspiration for the original recipes.

For centuries Perthshire has been renowned for its pure waters. Several of the bottled waters available today throughout the world are sourced from Perthshire's natural mineral springs. Little wonder then that so many famed whiskies were produced from these pure Perthshire waters, the same waters that provide the essential ingredient to all our Inveralmond Ales.

All our products are made with the finest ingredients - Maris Otter malt, choicest hops, yeast and of course, the water! Our dedicated and enthusiastic team have helped create a superb range of award winning beers ensuring that The Inveralmond Brewery keeps on going from strength to strength.

Ossian

Ossian

ABV 4.1%

Ossian, Son of Fingal, was a legendary warrior from the 3rd century. His grave stone can be seen north west of Perth in the 'Sma Glen', of which Sir Walter Scott wrote.... "In this still glen, remote from men, Sleeps Ossian, in the narrow glen". Available throughout the year, this superb golden ale continues to win awards. A pale, golden coloured brew with a full bodied fruity flavour with distinct nutty tomes and a hoppy, zesty, orange aroma, derived from First Gold and Cascade hops. Excellent brewing resulted in Ossian being judged the Champion Beer of Scotland.
